* happy = heureux (standard) ; glad/pleased = content (plus “calme”/poli). * delighted / thrilled = ravi (plus fort) ; overjoyed / ecstatic = très fort. * joyful = plein de joie (plutôt écrit) ; cheerful = de bonne humeur (attitude).

* cheerful = humeur générale, pas forcément “heureux à cause d’une nouvelle”. * content = satisfaction paisible (moins “enthousiaste” que happy). * ecstatic peut sonner un peu “dramatique” si tu l’utilises trop souvent.
